Privacy policy

Who we are

GGWP (ggwp.lt) is a gaming guides and pro player database site. The data controller for this site is the site operator; you can reach us via the contact page or by email at help@ggwp.lt.

What we collect

We collect the minimum necessary:

• Account data (only if you sign in): your name, email, and profile image as provided by the OAuth provider you used (Google / Discord) or by you directly via email magic link.
• Comments: the text you submit, the name and email you provided, the time you posted, and a one-way SHA-256 hash of your IP address. We do not store raw IP addresses.
• Analytics: aggregate, cookieless page-view counts via Vercel Analytics. No individual user is identified.

Why we collect it

• Account data: to identify you so you can comment without re-entering your name every time.
• Comment data: to show your comment to other visitors, to email you a confirmation link before your comment is published, to allow you to delete your own comment later, and to rate-limit abuse.
• Hashed IP: to prevent spam (rate limiting). The hash is one-way and cannot be reversed to recover your IP.

How long we keep it

We keep account and comment data for as long as your account or comment exists. You can delete your comment any time using the link we send in the verification email. You can request deletion of your account by emailing us. Pending unverified comments are deleted automatically after 48 hours.

Your rights under GDPR

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, and port your personal data, and to object to our processing.

For comments specifically, the easiest path is the delete this commentlink in the verification email you received — it deletes the row immediately, no contact needed. For everything else, email us and we'll respond within 30 days.

Third parties

We use these processors. They each have their own privacy policies — please review them if you're concerned about any of these:

• Vercel — hosting + analytics
• Neon — Postgres database
• Resend — transactional email
• Cloudflare Turnstile — anti-spam (no cookies, only an opaque token)
• Anthropic — AI used for editorial drafts; no visitor data is sent

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be announced on the homepage.
